| Tulip needles are new Japanese needles specially designed for beadworking. They may be more expensive than our other needles (including John James which are excellent quality in themselves) but the quality and durability of Tulip needles is impressive! Carole has been working with some of the samples sent to her by the Tulip company in Japan and is very impressed! They are ever so slightly thicker than UK beading needles of the same size (but slide easily through 11/0 seed beads and 11 Delicas several times), they do not bend out of shape as much, they have gilded eyes which make the thread slip smoothly through them and they come in their own rigid see-through needle case sealed with a cork. |
